Science-Based Assessments

The START assessment is a research-driven evaluation designed to measure your overall function and identify movement impairments that may lead to injury. After completing the assessment, you’ll receive a personalized START score from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the better your functional performance. Based on your results, you’ll be provided with a personalized, evidence-based strength and flexibility program tailored to improve your outcomes and reduce your risk of injury.

This 12-week strength and flexibility program is built around the results of your START assessment, addressing your individual strengths and weaknesses.  The program includes targeted exercises to improve joint stability, enhance flexibility, increase strength, and help prevent injury.

Health Education & Risk Test

This science-based, non-invasive assessment evaluates your risk of developing cardiovascular disease and the level of stress your heart may be under.  It includes a brief 10-minute questionnaire along with key physical measures (BMI, resting heart rate, waist-to-hip ratio, blood pressure, and a VO₂ max field test) all of which are linked to cardiovascular health. The results are combined into a HEART score ranging from 0 to 100, with lower scores indicating lower risk. Based on your results, you will also receive specific recommendations for each measure, along with a customized cardiovascular program to support heart health.

The 12-week cardiovascular program is a structured metabolic training plan informed by the results of your HEART assessment. It incorporates individualized heart rate zones derived from your specific physiological data. The program is designed to help you reduce body fat, improve cardiovascular health, minimize your risk of injury, and boost performance.

Each OptimumMe exercise includes easy-to-follow visual cues to guide you through the movements. Some exercises also feature videos to show you how to do them correctly, helping perform movements correctly and enhance their effectiveness. After completing an exercise, you can submit a difficulty and pain rating to your provider, offering valuable feedback for ongoing support and adjustment. The custom exercise list can be split between morning, afternoon, and evening routines. View the calendar to see all scheduled workouts. Tap the “Rate” button to record how difficult the exercise felt and whether you experienced any pain. Your feedback goes directly to your provider to help them support your progress.
